Richard completed his three-year advanced diploma in Sound Engineering top of his class. He manages a professional recording studio in Jo’burg, recording and mixing albums for local artists, as well as doing post production for both TV and radio. He has been a live sound engineer for the past seven years, doing live sound for bands and other stage productions. This has included work overseas with international artists such as Khanya West, Akon & L.L. Cool J. He has also worked overseas on reality shows for television, doing the post production and final mix, as well as coordinating and advising the location sound crew.
